ACTRESS
Originally from Slovenia, Alya has been acting since her childhood after joining a local theatre group and receiving the award for the most promising actress at the Slovenian Theatre Festival 2007. Since then she has been attending various acting schools, Stanislavski workshops and seminars in Slovenia, London, Moscow and has taken part in various theatre productions and short films.
At the age of 19 she moved to London and appeared in many theatre productions, feature and short films, TV series, commercials and music videos.
Recently she has appeared in feature films such as Wonder Woman, Bridget Jones' Baby, Brent On The Road, indian romantic comedy Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, TV series Silent Witness, Guilt and Goodbye Blue Michael, commercials for Ariel, Peugeot, Batiste Dry Shampoo, TK Maxx and music videos Love Me Better (James Blunt) and Reflections (Example ft. Jacob Plant).
She was also selected to participate at the Short Film Corner - acting programme at Festival de Cannes and represented Slovenia at the 10th International Theatre Summer School of the Theatre Union of Russian Federation. She is also fluent in 6 languages.

Originally from Slovenia, Alya has been acting since childhood when she joined a local theatre group. Shortly after she received an award for the most promising actress at the 6th Festival of Theatre Dreams 2007 in Ljubljana. Subsequently she attended various acting schools, workshops and seminars and took part in many theatre productions and short films.
At the age of 19 she independently moved to London and started to work as an actress, singer, songwriter and model. She appeared in a lot of theatre productions, feature length and short films, TV series, commercials and music videos.
Recent credits include Barbie, Wonder Woman, Indian romantic comedy Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, TV series Silent Witness, Black Mirror, Guilt and Goodbye Blue Michael, commercials for Ariel, Peugeot, Batiste Dry Shampoo and music videos Love Me Better (James Blunt), Reflections (Example ft. Jacob Plant) and onstage performance with Rita Ora.
In 2016 Alya represented Slovenia at the 10th International Theatre Summer School of the Theatre Union of Russian Federation in Moscow.
In 2017 she was accepted into Russian Institute of Theatre Arts - GITIS (acting faculty, class of Mindaugas Karbauskis) from where she graduated in 2021 and is based in Moscow, London and Slovenia.​
Alya is fluent in 8 languages (English, French, Russian, Slovenian, Arabic, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian) and has an elementary knowledge of the Spanish, Italian and Polish languages.​
She was the face of the Festival of Languages in 2019, 2021 and 2022 in Ljubljana (by Mojca Leben).

SINGER-SONGWRITER
Alya Elouissi is a Slovenian-Algerian actress and awarded singer-songwriter. In 2019 she released her debut EP My Love with its lead single Fool for You, an energetic dance/electro pop song produced by Julian Chown, musically & lyrically written by Alya herself. EP has received great reviews and is being aired on some major radio stations in England, USA, Mexico and Brazil.
Her debut single The One, an inspiring pop ballad has been played on numerous radio stations and gained excellent reviews in some of the top music blogs and magazines.
At 24th International Music Festival FENS 2019 Alya won 3rd place with her song "Iz Rusije z ljubeznijo" (music: Alya Elouissi, lyrics: Leon Oblak, production: Julian Chown).

In 2022 she started working with Dallas Records Slovenia and released her new Slovenian single Dvignem krila in collaboration with Neisha and later an official acoustic version.
In 2023 Alya was a selected as an artist for the 42nd Festival Melodije morja in sonca, where she performed with her new summer single Valovim, which also became hit of the week on Radio Rai in Trieste, Italy.
​In 2024 Alya released her first afrobeat song Give Me Your Time in collaboration with London singer Romel and producer Slic Vic and became the first Slovenian female afrobeat artist in the history. The song made it to Top 100 Nigeria, Best of Nigeria 2024 and other charts and official Spotify playlists to name a few. Its music video was being played on MTV Base West, HipTV and SoundcityTV.

Taking inspirations from her own life experience, Alya's aim is to deliver her message of love and life to everyone. Compelling lyrics, catchy, narrative and delightful pop melodies are displayed in her music and performances.
Alya is already making a name for herself on the UK and international music scene, having performed at big London venues such as the O2 and has been working with many international vocal coaches, multi platinum producers and songwriters. She got the 2nd Award for Best Female Singer at RBE Awards 2018 in London and performed at Theatrical Novel Awards 2019 in Moscow, Opening ceremony of European Mobility Week 2020 and was representing her hometown Ljubljana at Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival in 2020 and 2021.

She began singing in choirs when she was 6 and progressed with voice coaching at the age of 11 which helped her to develop her unique voice, broad vocal range and excellent stage presence. Her independent move to London as a teenager opened doors for Alya and her musical exposure has evolutionised her writing style.
In addition to her training in classical, pop, jazz, soul and musical theatre singing styles, she has also studied vocals at the Goldsmiths University of London - Music Department and, has extensive experience of live performing and studio session work as both a lead and backing vocalist.

Alya has 4 years of professional modeling experience including fashion shows, editorial, commercials, high fashion, portraits, lifestyle, hair modeling, stock still photography, tutorials and music videos.
